Julianna Ramaya

Julianna’s lessons leave a lasting impact.

Julianna Ramaya is an educator and lifelong learner who sees language as more than just a skill—it’s a tool for confidence, connection and self-expression. With a foundation in science and psychology, she designs lessons that spark curiosity, challenge thinking and transform communication. Rooted in research, her method goes beyond traditional teaching to create an immersive and lasting experience.

Her love for learning began early—working by 12 years old, she absorbed life’s lessons through experience. Music shaped her journey, basketball was her first love and art helps her make sense of the world. She finds inspiration in nature, human connection and the rhythm of a well-asked question. She moves through life without rushing, knowing growth happens when we lean into experience.

By integrating neuropsychology into her teaching, she creates an environment where students feel supported to take risks, think independently and push past limitations. Known for her engaging and thoughtful approach, she empowers students to own their voices with courage.

Febby Tan

Febby Tan handles social media and anything video-related at Talk That Talk. Born and raised in Indonesia, she discovered her love for language early on by listening to artists such as Missy Elliott and Alicia Keys on MTV.

She knows firsthand what it takes to master an entire second language in order to work and live abroad, a challenge she faced when she moved to Canada. With more than a decade of experience as an animator and video editor, she has collaborated with design studios, performance artists, agencies, and post‑production houses in Canada and around the world.
From animation and stage visuals to video editing and social‑media content, she’s done it all.

At Talk That Talk, she brings a thoughtful blend of creativity, clarity, and playfulness; streamlining design workflows and building scalable creative systems.

When she isn’t animating or learning a language (currently Spanish), you’ll find her making and teaching music, watching documentaries on Kanopy, or enjoying cat videos.

“Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage.”
